Guilty Pleasures

In April, OhMiBod/Bedroom Kandi was invited to attend a couples' event that the folks at Guilty Pleasures in Charleston, SC were holding, so of course I went!

I spent a couple of days training the Guilty Pleasures staff, meeting more folks from the industry, and showing the Guilty Pleasures customers what OhMiBod and Bedroom Kandi are all about.

Good times!  And a huge THANK YOU to Guilty Pleasures for having me out!

I'm a nerdy sex toy lady

I had a trip to Orlando for a "Fifty Shades of Grey"-themed event at Fairvilla and took half a day to go to Universal Studios Theme Park. Can you guess what I was really going there for?

I am such a nerd.

I got all excited about... "The Wizarding World of Harry Potter". Yep. I did.

I spent over 2 hours in that section of the park -- exploring Hogsmeade, riding the Hogwarts ride (awesome!), checking out Ollivander's Wand Shop, drinking butterbeer, etc. It was so fabulous!

I may, or may not have, bought a wand for myself as well. Yeah, total nerd. And it's a cool wand!

I tried to make up for the nerdiness by riding the Hulk ride and Doctor Doom's Freefall.

Where else have I been?

So after Seattle Round #1, I headed to Portland for a few days.  There was staff product knowledge training to do at Fantasy For Adults Only since they'd picked up our line and we want to provide the staff with as much support as possible. I must say, they have a pretty great staff.  Everyone seems to be so bright and friendly.  I was impressed when I walked into one location to find an entirely all-male staff working the store.

I even swung by SheBop to visit her gorgeous boutique and show her some of the newest stuff.

I really appreciate that various stores want our support and training and for them, we are more than happy to provide it.

The following is some of what I got into.  Let me just say that I did try to eat my way thru that city.  I needed more time to explore, so I'll be back again.

Spent a week there for work... And it rained for nearly all of it. But still pretty. And I've learned that I never want to drive there again.

Safer sex in within reach

I'd spotted the LoveBuckle on the OhMiBod site will before I started with OhMiBod and I thought it was such a brilliant idea.  The buckle holds a ONE condom so that there's no excuse and you get to display one of the condoms right out in the open.

The ONE condoms are those condoms with the fun designs on their circular wrappers.  I even remember a contest ONE had run a while back looking for artists who wanted to try to get their work onto their condoms.



Of course I had to get my own -- one black and one pink. ;-)
