New car! Working on it...

Sooo... a drunk driver with a .282 BAC came along and did this to my poor car last month. Yeah... not fun. But, I wasn't in it at the time, thank goodness! I was actually fast asleep in bed... minding my own business. I guess you could say that my car was totaled. Argh. Check out my poor car magnet...

Unfortunately, in PA, the car insurance company cannot give more than what the car is worth. Argh, argh. Would've been nice to get enough money to get a new car. I'm not asking for a brand new car. Just enough to get another car without having to take out a loan. This car was paid for in cash so I had no payments.

Anyway... working on getting more parties and business so I can pay off the loan I had to get as soon as possible. Thank goodness with my "job", it's possible to pay it off pretty damn fast!

I'm going to keep moving forward and focus on my work. I've turned my May Parties into my "Pay Off My Car Loan" month! Tee hee!

TAX TIME!

Man, oh man... it's TAX TIME! Have you filed your taxes already or did you wait until the last minute like some of us, hmmm?

Yep, I waited until the last minute this year. I was good last year... not so much this year. Argh... I think I was afraid that I'd have lots to pay since I'm self-employed. Ouch. And yes, we filed for an extension... since I didn't meet with my accountant for the first time until Monday, the 13th.

Well, if you are filing your taxes on the deadline, hope it's in a city where they practically turn the Post Office into party central!

Valentine's Day... How was it?

How was your Valentine's Day this year, hmmm?

I do see that there can be so much pressure to make it such a perfect holiday -- some of us want flowers, some of us candy, some of romantic getaways, some of jewelry. But do those expectations always get met? Maybe not all of the time. And we're left disappointed. :-(

Of course I would love that huge romantic gesture, but really, I'd be fine with something that is truly heartfelt. No matter how small it may seem to be to someone else. As long as I know that it came from the heart.

Did you spend it with that special someone in your life? Did you spend it with your nearest and dearest friends? Did you show them how much you love and appreciate them? Did you show yourself some love?

And yes, I did spend my Valentine's Day with someone special and my friends.

Being a man...

When it comes to who I am and what I do, a man needs to be confident enough in himself to handle it.

I'm going to be talking about sex and toys with people. Could be friends... could be complete strangers. I'm going to want to experiment with products -- it's part of the business after all.

He should also be supportive -- my personal cheerleader.

It's a brand new year!

Can you believe it's 2009 already?? Wow!

Have you written up your goals for the upcoming year? Do you have a plan to reach those goals?

Are you going to spend more time with your family? Are you going to take more time for yourself? Are you going to reconnect with your lover? Are you going to do something bold?

Each new year I try to come up with a list of what I'd like to accomplish each year and I do admit that some of those things don't get done. But, I am really proud that I achieved at least two of my goals for 2008 -- I earned that FREE TRIP to Hawaii from "For Your Pleasure"! I wasn't sure if I'd get the numbers, but I kept at it each and every month and I got the trip!! I also made it into the Executive Sales Club after working for 12 months straight to get the necessary sales to qualify.

It feels so great to accomplish something I had on my vision board for last year!

I also heard of a great idea from someone I met recently. Do something new each and every week. Hmmmm... I think it's brilliant!

Something to try with your lover...

How about giving this a try the next time you're with your lover...

Sit or lay really close to each other... hold each other... gaze into your lover's eyes. Hold it. Keep silent. Can you hold that gaze with other for 1 minute? 2 minutes? 5 minutes? Could you feel the connection between you both?

That is an intimate moment you can share. It might be a bit difficult your first try 'cos you could end up giggling, but keep trying. Sometimes being in silence together can be a good thing.

So it's been a while since I posted... there's been some madness going on in the love life department that's had me disctracted, but I've slowly been coming back to the social world. Reconnecting with old friends... making new ones....

It's sad how after over 2 1/2 years of sharing a life with someone that, when it ends, it's like you never existed in each others' lives. Very sad.

I will continue to sling my dildos! It may be a bit before I find a great and steady "research" partner, but in the meanwhile... ;-)

"Purrrrr"

My "Purr" finally arrived last week! And just in time as I'm going thru relationship woes so I don't have a "playmate"...

My darling UPS man made his delivery and boy oh boy... I could barely contain myself! Opened up the box to find the familiar clear, plastic box holding my "Purr"... YAAAY! Mine! All mine! "Hello, Purr... you're alllll miiiine..."

But of course, I had to put the Purr down and go do a Party... my "research" would have to wait...

The Zodiac screwed me!

I was hanging out with some friends this past weekend... got my hands on one of their books... something like the DarkSide of the Zodiac... kinda tells you all the bad stuff about your sign...

I am an Aries. And boy, oh boy, am I screwed!

Of course, me being me, I wanted to know what it had to say about my sexual prowess... of course! What did it have to tell me?

1) That I like to be harder, faster, louder, better than all of my lovers' lovers.... hmmm.. okay. I can sort of see that.
2) That I don't like foreplay and just want to get down to it. HUH?!?!?!? Okay, I admit, yes, there are times (okay, many times) when I want to just get down to it. But I am a woman after all, and I do like the foreplay. I can't fully enjoy myself without getting warmed up first. I'm not like a guy with his erection ready to stick it in something. That's right, if I'm not warmed up enough, the orgasm won't be making its appearance and I'm going to be slightly cranky for being denied it. All that hard work and I don't rewarded with an orgasm? You'd be pretty damn cranky and slightly resentful too if they were getting theirs all the time and you were left hangin'! I admit, part of that may be my fault when I spoil a lover and let him have his way straightaway and then he neglects the whole foreplay thing... gotta get off that crap. I like to spoil my lovers, but I deserve to be spoiled too. Dammit!
3) That I like the pursuit of a lover and once I get him, I'm on to the next. Not really... Besides, I like to be the one that's chased... on the rare freakin' occasion that I'm actually chased.
4) That I have a problem with authority. Yeah, I do. That's why I work for myself.
5) That I have a bad temper. I can. Sometimes.
6) That we Aries invented road rage. Okay, when I first got my car, I had no problems with the idiots on the road, but now... yes, I can be found swearing and talking to the morons I come across (and want to drive over) on the road. Just a tad road rage-y. O:-)
7) That I like to be the boss and everyone has to do things my way. Yeah. Again, that's why I work for myself. Working on the whole "they have to do it the way I say" thing...

It also told me, like all of the Cosmos and other astrological signs books, that Leos are a great match for me. Hmmm.. they've been big pains in my butt when I look at past experiences... all have broken my heart. What's the other compatible sign for me?

So anyway, I'm screwed according to this book. Great.
