Holidaaay!!!!

On my first holiday in aaaages! I'm in Turkey! Did Istanbul for 24 hours and moved on.

I'll have to come back so that I can explore more of the country and of course more of Istanbul.

We won!

This last week was the AVN Adult Novelty Expo, which partnered up with the International Lingerie Show, giving buyers a more well-rounded show because of more pleasure products companies being present. 3 days of meeting with current customers and making new ones and putting faces to the names in my emails and phone calls.

Plus, it's just nice to see the industry folks again. It's definitely like a summer camp.

The "O" Awards was on Tuesday night and check THIS out:



We won 2 awards! Kandi Kisses won the award for Outstanding Debut Product and then Club Vibe 2.OH won for Outstanding Product for Women!

And since both Brian and Suki couldn't make it to the show this time, I had to accept the awards for us. Heh, heh. I tried not to make too much of a fool out of myself.

It's so awesome to be recognized since we're surrounded by so many great companies out there! Our retailers and distributors have done such an awesome job getting our products into people's hands and we definitely couldn't have done it without them.

And of course, AVN has always been such a great supporter. I've always known them to be, even before I started working with OhMiBod.

I'll post more about the show in another post. I just wanted to toot our horns a little bit. :-p

Detroit in the Summer 2012

I hit up Detroit last week for some trainings and managed to squeeze in quite a bit in the little free time that I had.

I mowed with the Detroit Mower Gang and it was awesome. If you're ever in Detroit when they're mowing, I highly recommended mowing with them! It's all for the better good!


I checked out the Detroit Zoo.


Scoped out the awesomeness that is the Heidelberg Project.


And actually got out of the car at the Packard Plant. :-p



As scary as Detroit seemed to be to me, it has its great points and managed to spend time with some awesome people.

Life of a Rock Star

A friend of mine recently referred to my on-the-road lifestyle to that of a rock star's.

Things have been busy

With the popularity of "Fifty Shades of Grey", you may imagine how busy our industry has been as more and more ladies become more sexually liberated.

Because of the book, Sportsheets is one of the companies that has been super busy. Their "Sex & Mischief" line, which, to me, has much more appealing packaging than much of the line has been doing so well and I'm so happy for them!

We've been busy with Bedroom Kandi's "Hold On To Me" kegel spheres since kegel balls are used in the book. Hold On To Me has been flying off the shelves, along with other kegel balls!

I think it's great that woman are buying them left and right. I just hope that they're getting educated by whoever they're buying from so that they know the proper way to use them.

Because of the books, there are going to be soooo many women running around with really strong kegel muscles and having amazing orgasms. At least that's my hope. :-p

The Magic That is "Magic Mike"

Saw the movie this past week... twice. In two different cities with different people.

So what if it's not exactly an Academy Award-winner? I was happy with the ass-shakin' and pelvic thrusts of the cast members. Raaawr!

Guilty Pleasures

In April, OhMiBod/Bedroom Kandi was invited to attend a couples' event that the folks at Guilty Pleasures in Charleston, SC were holding, so of course I went!

I spent a couple of days training the Guilty Pleasures staff, meeting more folks from the industry, and showing the Guilty Pleasures customers what OhMiBod and Bedroom Kandi are all about.

I'm a nerdy sex toy lady

I had a trip to Orlando for a "Fifty Shades of Grey"-themed event at Fairvilla and took half a day to go to Universal Studios Theme Park. Can you guess what I was really going there for?

I am such a nerd.

I got all excited about... "The Wizarding World of Harry Potter". Yep. I did.

I spent over 2 hours in that section of the park -- exploring Hogsmeade, riding the Hogwarts ride (awesome!), checking out Ollivander's Wand Shop, drinking butterbeer, etc. It was so fabulous!

I may, or may not have, bought a wand for myself as well. Yeah, total nerd. And it's a cool wand!

I tried to make up for the nerdiness by riding the Hulk ride and Doctor Doom's Freefall.

Where else have I been?

So after Seattle Round #1, I headed to Portland for a few days.  There was staff product knowledge training to do at Fantasy For Adults Only since they'd picked up our line and we want to provide the staff with as much support as possible. I must say, they have a pretty great staff.  Everyone seems to be so bright and friendly.  I was impressed when I walked into one location to find an entirely all-male staff working the store.

I even swung by SheBop to visit her gorgeous boutique and show her some of the newest stuff.

I really appreciate that various stores want our support and training and for them, we are more than happy to provide it.

The following is some of what I got into.  Let me just say that I did try to eat my way thru that city.  I needed more time to explore, so I'll be back again.
