I was AUCTIONED OFF!

On Nov. 17th, I participated in the State College Young Professionals' "Fall Collection: A Date Auction" to benefit our local Second Mile. And yes, I was one of 20 people being auctioned off for "dates".

Our goal was to raise $4,000. Some thought it was a pretty lofty goal. Could we actually pull it off?

Oh, WE DID! We raised over $4,200 with just the winning bids alone! :-) That didn't include the portion of the cover charge that was going to the charity as well! How awesome is that?! :-)

I'd love to thank everyone that came out to support us. Even if you didn't win or bid, just coming and paying cover helped us exceed our goal.

I'd love to thank the folks at the Cellblock for letting us use the club for the auction and for providing everyone with such awesome service!

THANK YOU to the local restaurants and businesses that donated gift certificates for the "dates".

I'd love to thank the fellow auctionees for putting themselves up on the auction block. I definitely don't mine making a fool out of myself for a good cause (this was the second date auction I participated in -- the first was for a THON fundraiser). Plus, I think we all got some great "date" activities. :-)

And, I'd love to THANK the folks from the SCYP who put the entire event together! It ran so smoothly and looked effortless.

Revamping...

In the midst of doing a bit of a revamp of my show... and boy, is it difficult!! It's so tough trying to decide which items stay and which ones go! It's like cutting off a limb!

Sex Toy Lady "Envy"

Okay... so I've heard the comments before. How people are "jealous" of the sex toy lady. People seem to think I have the kinkiest sex around.

But, I can honestly say that there are times when it's not what you think. Yes, I have a niiiice collection of personal toys that can make me very happy, but there are times when it's not what you'd think it is. I guess I get frustrated when I have someone special in my life who isn't into the toys like I am. I know. Weird, huh? The sex toy lady is with someone who's not into toys??!?!? Tell me about it.

It's not like I'd want to whip something out all of the time during our "playtime", but I'd like a more open-minded lover when it comes to bringing something else into the bed. It's not very encouraging when I even mention a game and get scoffed at. Ugh.

I can't help that I get excited when I get new products in. I want to talk about them because they do get me excited and curious. Getting a reaction like a totally unexcited "Yay" is not encouraging at all.

What gets me is that I'm the one who's willing to play "dress up" sometimes, but I'm not getting anything else in return. Relationships are a 2-way street, right?

Ben Wa Ball advice

All I can say is, if you're using Ben Wa balls to help strengthen your PC muscles, I highly recommend that you take them out well before you think you may have to pee. It takes a heck of a lot of coordination to pee and not "lose" a ball in the toilet. :-/

Holy G-Spot, Batman!

I recently returned from our annual "For Your Pleasure" Convention. Learned lots... came back with a fire under my ass to get my business running at high speed. And... came back with NEW products!! Ohhhhhh yeahhhhhhh!

One of the toys I came back with is the njoy Fun Wand. Yep, we added the njoy line of stainless steel. They are gorgeous pieces. So smooth, polished, strong. I liked the one piece so much I had to get one for MYSELF to try. And boy, oh boy...

New car! Working on it...

Sooo... a drunk driver with a .282 BAC came along and did this to my poor car last month. Yeah... not fun. But, I wasn't in it at the time, thank goodness! I was actually fast asleep in bed... minding my own business. I guess you could say that my car was totaled. Argh. Check out my poor car magnet...

Unfortunately, in PA, the car insurance company cannot give more than what the car is worth. Argh, argh. Would've been nice to get enough money to get a new car. I'm not asking for a brand new car. Just enough to get another car without having to take out a loan. This car was paid for in cash so I had no payments.

Anyway... working on getting more parties and business so I can pay off the loan I had to get as soon as possible. Thank goodness with my "job", it's possible to pay it off pretty damn fast!

I'm going to keep moving forward and focus on my work. I've turned my May Parties into my "Pay Off My Car Loan" month! Tee hee!

TAX TIME!

Man, oh man... it's TAX TIME! Have you filed your taxes already or did you wait until the last minute like some of us, hmmm?

Yep, I waited until the last minute this year. I was good last year... not so much this year. Argh... I think I was afraid that I'd have lots to pay since I'm self-employed. Ouch. And yes, we filed for an extension... since I didn't meet with my accountant for the first time until Monday, the 13th.

Well, if you are filing your taxes on the deadline, hope it's in a city where they practically turn the Post Office into party central!
